    From Helsinki Central Station, head east on Kaivokatu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rautatieasema. Turn left onto Mannerheimintie and walk until you reach the intersection with Yliopistonkatu. Turn right onto Yliopistonkatu, and continue straight until you reach the garden entrance at Kaisaniemenranta 2. The walk is approximately 600 meters.

    Take trams 3, 6, 7, or 9, or many buses that travel along Unioninkatu. Get off at the Kaisaniemi stop or the University of Helsinki stop. The Hakaniemi and University of Helsinki metro stations are also located within 700 meters of the Kaisaniemenranta entrance. A single AB zone ticket costs €3.20 when purchased from a machine or €4.10 via the HSL mobile app.
