Public Transport
If you are starting from the Helsinki Central Railway Station (Helsingin päärautatieasema), take tram number 3 from the tram stop located just outside the station. Ride the tram for 5 stops until you reach 'Kauppatori' (Market Square). Get off the tram and walk towards the water. From here, follow the waterfront promenade towards the south. Continue walking along the shoreline until you reach the Uspenski Cathedral, which is located at Pormestarinrinne 1. The cathedral is visible from the promenade.

If you are near the Helsinki Market Square (Kauppatori), simply walk uphill from the square towards the Uspenski Cathedral. From the Market Square, head up the steps leading to the Katajanokka district. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you see the cathedral on your left at Pormestarinrinne 1. It should take about 10 minutes to walk there.

From the Kamppi Shopping Center, take metro line M1 or M2 towards Vuosaari or Mellunmäki. Get off at 'Rautatientori' station (the second stop). Transfer to tram number 3 at Rautatientori and ride for 5 stops to 'Kauppatori'. From there, follow the walking instructions to get to the Uspenski Cathedral as described above.
