Walking
If you are starting from Jyväskylä city center, head northeast on Kauppakatu towards Yliopistonkatu. Continue straight until you reach Yliopistonkatu, then turn left. Walk along Yliopistonkatu for about 1 km. You will see Nero Stairs located at Yliopistonkatu 18, on your right. Look for a large staircase leading up the Harju ridge which provides a great view over the city.

From Jyväskylä railway station, take bus number 2 or 3 towards 'Keskusta'. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the 'Jyvaskyla, Yliopistonkatu' stop. After disembarking, walk east on Yliopistonkatu for about 200 meters. Nero Stairs will be on your left, right before you reach Yliopistonkatu 18.
