Walking
From the Jyväskylä city center, walk along Kauppakatu, the main pedestrian street, eastwards. At the intersection with Vapaudenkatu, turn left. Continue straight on Vapaudenkatu for about 500 meters until you reach Cygnaeuksenkatu. Turn right onto Cygnaeuksenkatu, and after 200 meters, you'll see Cygnaeuksenpuisto park on your left. The Uno Cygnaeus statue is located within the park.
Public Transport
From the Jyväskylä Travel Centre (bus and railway station), walk 260 meters to the local transport terminal on Asemakatu street. Take a Linkki bus towards the city center. Get off at the 'Kauppakatu' stop. Follow Kauppakatu east until you reach the intersection with Vapaudenkatu. Turn left and walk along Vapaudenkatu for approximately 500 meters. When you reach Cygnaeuksenkatu, turn right and continue for 200 meters. Enter Cygnaeuksenpuisto park, and the Uno Cygnaeus statue will be inside the park. A single ticket costs €4.00 when purchased with cash from the driver or €2.70 with a Waltti card or mobile ticket.
