Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Jyväskylä, which is centrally located in Central Finland. Use the E63 highway or local roads depending on your starting point. Once in Jyväskylä, follow signs to the city center. You can park at nearby parking facilities such as the Jyväskylä City Parking Garage on Vapaudenkatu. From the parking garage, walk approximately 10 minutes to Cygnaeuksenkatu 2, where Toivola Old Courtyard is located.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you're using public transport, check the local bus schedules to Jyväskylä. There are regular buses from various locations in Central Finland to Jyväskylä. Once you arrive at the Jyväskylä bus station, exit and head towards the city center. You can walk to Toivola Old Courtyard in about 15 minutes, following the signs to Cygnaeuksenkatu 2.

• Public Transportation - Train

  You can also take a train to Jyväskylä from various cities in Finland. Check the train schedules for the most convenient route. Upon arrival at Jyväskylä Railway Station, exit the station, and you can either walk to Toivola Old Courtyard (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local bus. If you choose the bus, catch a bus towards the city center and get off at the nearest stop, then walk to Cygnaeuksenkatu 2.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk once in the city center, Toivola Old Courtyard is located at Cygnaeuksenkatu 2. From the Jyväskylä bus or train station, head south on Vapaudenkatu, turn left onto Cygnaeuksenkatu, and you will find the courtyard on your right. This leisurely stroll takes around 15-20 minutes and allows you to enjoy the city sights.
