Walking
If you are in the center of Jyväskylä, start at the Jyväskylä City Market (Kauppatori) located at Kauppakatu. From the market, head east on Kauppakatu towards the intersection with Vapaudenkatu. Continue straight onto Vapaudenkatu and walk for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the intersection with Asemakatu, you will see a large square on your right. Asema-aukio is located in that square, just before the train station.
