Klassarinkierros Nature Trail

Klassarinkierros, nestled in the Vihti region of Nuuksio National Park, offers a tranquil escape into nature. This 4-kilometer circular trail is less crowded than other areas of Nuuksio, providing a serene experience for hikers. The trail winds through diverse landscapes, including lush spruce forests, rocky paths, and alongside the wilderness-like Saarilampi Pond. The path features varied terrain, from wide, well-surfaced roads to rocky forest paths crisscrossed by roots, and even duckboards across wetlands. One of the highlights is the climb to Klassarinkallio Cliffs, offering slightly more open views. The untouched shores of Saarilampi Pond provide a restful and picturesque scene. A campfire site near the beach offers a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Klassarinkierros connects to other trails in Nuuksio National Park, offering options for longer hikes, including a route to the Finnish Nature Center Haltia. The trail is generally easy, though some sections can be challenging due to elevation and ice, especially during winter. The area is also suitable for various activities such as cycling, fishing, and swimming.
