Public Transport
From the Kuopio city center, head to the nearest bus station, which is located near the Kuopio Market Square (Kauppatori). Look for bus number 22 or 23, which both go towards Puijo. Board the bus and enjoy the short ride; it will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the Puijo stop. Once you get off at Puijo stop, follow the signs that direct you towards the Puijo tower. The tower is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk from Kuopio city center, head north along the main street, Keskuskatu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Puijontie. Turn left onto Puijontie and follow it for about 3 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful scenery and local parks. Once you reach the Puijo tower, you will see the distinctive structure rising above the trees.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kuopio. After renting your bike, head north from the city center along the bike paths. Follow the designated bike routes that lead you to Puijontie. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes and is a scenic route that offers views of the surrounding nature. Once you arrive at Puijontie, follow the path leading up to the tower.
