The Elving Tower, located near Repovesi National Park in Vuohijärvi, offers stunning panoramic views of the Kymenlaakso region. Built in the early 20th century by Rudolf Elving, it served as a fire watchtower and later an air surveillance post during the wars. Restored in 1995, it's now a popular tourist attraction.

Driving
From Kouvola, drive north on Route 12 towards Valkeala. Continue onto Hillosensalmentie road. Follow Hillosensalmentie, then turn onto an unpaved road for approximately 900 meters to reach the base of the tower. Parking is available at the base. Note that the unpaved road can be bumpy. There are no tolls on this route. Parking at the tower is free.

Public Transport
From Kouvola, take a bus towards Vuohijärvi. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. From Vuohijärvi P bus stop, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to Elving Tower. Bus tickets cost approximately €5. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information.
