The Light Well (Valokaivo in Finnish) is an interactive light art installation located in the central market square (Kauppatori) of Lahti. Designed by Studio Lux Nova and Marjut Kauppinen, it offers a unique experiential space where light responds to the presence of people.

Walking
From Lahti Travel Centre, walk north along Rautatienkatu street. Turn right onto Aleksanterinkatu street and continue until you reach the Market Square (Kauppatori). The Light Well is located in the eastern part of the square. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.
Public Transport
From Lahti Travel Centre, take any local bus that stops at the Kauppatori (Market Square). Several bus lines serve this area. The ride is short, typically 5 minutes. Check local bus schedules for accurate timings. A single ticket costs around €3.
