    From Lahti city center, take bus number 40 or 41 towards 'Linnaisten' from the Lahti Bus Station. Check the bus schedule for timings. From the 'Linnaisten' bus stop, walk north along the road for about 15 minutes. You'll pass a golf course on your left. Continue until you reach the entrance to Linnaistensuo Nature Reserve, marked with signage. A single bus fare within Lahti costs approximately €3.

  • Walking

    From Lahti City Hall, head east on Aleksanterinkatu towards the lakeside. Follow the pathway along the shore of Lake Vesijärvi. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kivistöntie. Turn left onto Kivistöntie and follow the road until you reach the 'Linnaisten' area. The walk takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From there, follow signs to Linnaistensuo Nature Trail.

    Linnaistensuo is located near Linnaistenmäki, south of the former highway 12, now Nastolantie. You can reach Linnaistensuo along Korvenrannantie or Linnaistentie and Ilolantie roads. Free parking is available at the starting point of Korvenrannantie and Ilolantie road. Be aware that parking may be limited. There are no tolls on the direct route to Linnaistensuo.

The nature trail was renovated in the summers of 2022 and 2023. To protect nesting animals, especially in the spring and summer, visitors are encouraged to stay on the duckboards. Berry picking is permitted, but visitors are asked to minimize their impact on the fragile environment.
