The Luhdanjoki area is an important migration area where the Luhdanjoki River, the upper part of the Porvoonjoki River, receives water from the southern slope of Salpausselkä. During the spring floods, the water spreads over the meadows of the Luhdanjoki river valley, creating a landscape reminiscent of the ancient lake that existed thousands of years ago. The tower is easily accessible with stairs that are easy to climb, and the structure remains stable even on windy days. From the top, enjoy a 360° view of lush green vegetation, pine and spruce trees, and golden fields. The tower is open daily from 6 AM to 8 PM, providing ample opportunity to explore the area. While there are no nature trails directly on the Luhdanjoki River area, the surrounding area offers lovely walking trails to further appreciate the Finnish landscape.
