    If you're traveling by car, start from the city center of Joensuu. Head northeast on Route 6 towards Nurmes for about 45 kilometers. After reaching the town of Kitee, continue on Route 6 until you reach the junction for Route 73. Turn right onto Route 73 and follow it for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Naarva. Once in Naarva, turn onto Hatuntie, where you will find Katajapuro Waterfall located at Hatuntie 638. There is free parking available near the waterfall.
