    To reach Porttilouhi by car, head towards Juuka via Route 6. From Joensuu, take Route 6 northeast for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach Juuka. Once in Juuka, follow signs to Porttilouhi. From Juuka ABC, drive 19 km in the direction of Nurmes and turn left onto Tervavaarantie. Drive along Tervavaarantie for 8 km and turn right onto the forest road. Drive 1 km and leave the car on the left side of the road. Parking is available near the attraction. Note that the final kilometer is on a forest road. Parking is free.

    To reach Porttilouhi via public transport, take a bus from Joensuu to Juuka. The bus service is operated by OnniBus or local providers, with tickets costing around 10-15 euros.
