Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Koli National Park, take Koli Road (Kolin Tie) towards Lieksa. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Herajärventie. Turn left onto Herajärventie and drive for about 1 kilometer. Ryläys will be on your right at Herajärventie 1, 83960 Lieksa. Parking is available near the site. Parking is free.

    From the Koli Nature Center Ukko, walk approximately 7 kilometers towards Lieksa. Follow the marked hiking trails and look for signs directing you to Herajärventie. The walk will take you through forested areas. Once you reach Herajärventie, Ryläys will be a short distance away.
