    From the center of Muhos, head north on Valtatie 22 (Highway 22). Turn onto Muhosperäntie and continue for approximately 6 km until you reach the Poikajoki bridge. After the bridge, turn right onto a smaller dirt road (Peräläntie 78). Follow this road to Isterinkoski Rapids. Be aware that the dirt road can be in poor condition, especially during thaw season. Parking is available near the rapids.

    From Oulu, take bus number 40, 40K, 41, or 41A to Muhos. From the Muhos Keskusta E bus stop, it is approximately 8km to Isterinkoski Rapids. You will need to take a taxi from the Muhos bus stop to Isterinkoski Rapids. A taxi from Muhos center to Isterinkoski will cost approximately 20-30 EUR.
