Car
From Jyväskylä, take Highway 4 (E75) south towards Lahti. After approximately 60 km, exit towards Rutalahti. Follow local road signs to Koskelantie 127, Rutalahti. Parking is available at Rautsillantie 4, 41710 Rutalahti, near the former Koskikara school. Note that there is no winter maintenance.

Public Transport
During the summer, the Outdoor Express bus provides weekend service from Jyväskylä to Koskikara (Rutalahti P). Purchase tickets in advance through Matkahuolto. A one-way ticket costs approximately €12 for adults. From the Koskikara bus stop, the trail is a short walk away.
