Walking
From the parking area near Vattajantie road, it's a short walk to Lahdenkrooppi Beach. Follow the marked paths through the coastal terrain. The walk is generally easy and provides scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
Public Transport
While public transport directly to Lahdenkrooppi Beach is limited, you can take a bus towards Lohtaja and then walk or cycle the remaining distance. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. From the Lohtaja bus stop, follow the signs towards Vattajanniemi and Lahdenkrooppi Beach. Bus fare from Kokkola to Lohtaja is approximately €5-€8.
Driving
From Kokkola, drive north on Road 8, then turn onto Lohtajantie (Road 7715). Follow the signs to Lohtaja and then Vattajanniemi. Continue onto Vattajantie and follow the road until you reach the parking area for Lahdenkrooppi Beach. Parking is free. Be aware of potential restrictions due to military exercises.
