Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near Oulu City Hall, head east on Hallituskatu street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kirkkokatu. Turn left onto Kirkkokatu and walk for another 300 meters until you see the market square (Kauppatori) on your right.

  • Walking

    From Oulu Cathedral, walk southwest down Kirkkokatu street. After about 200 meters, turn right onto Hallituskatu. Continue for approximately 300 meters, and you will arrive at Oulu market square (Kauppatori) which will be on your left.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Oulu Railway Station, exit the station and head south towards the city center. Cross the bridge (Rautatiesilta) over the Oulu River. Once you reach the other side, continue straight for about 1 kilometer along Oulu's pedestrian streets until you reach Kauppatori on your left.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Take bus number 1, 2, or 14 from any nearby bus station towards the city center. Get off at the Kauppatori stop. From the bus stop, it is just a short walk to the market square (Kauppatori).

  • Walking

    If you are at Oulu University, exit the campus and head towards the nearest bus stop. Take any bus heading towards the city center, and get off at Kauppatori. The market square is directly in front of you as you disembark.
