From Oulu Market Square, Pikisaari is easily accessible by foot. Head towards the Oulu Theatre and City Library. Cross the footbridge located between these buildings, which directly connects to Pikisaari. The walk is short and offers scenic views of the Oulujoki River.
Public Transport
To reach Pikisaari via public transportation, take a bus to Oulu city center, and get off near the Oulu Market Square. From there, it is a short walk across the footbridge to Pikisaari. Bus lines 2, 3, 4, 20, 34, 35, 35K, 36 and 63 stop nearby. A single bus fare within Oulu is approximately €3.30.
Driving
If driving, head towards Oulu city center and follow signs for Pikisaari. From the center, take Pikisaarentie road directly to the island. Limited parking is available on Pikisaari, so parking in the main square (Toriranta) is recommended. Parking costs in the city center range from €1.60 to €2.80 per hour.
