Walking
If you are in the center of Oulu, start your journey by heading south on Rotuaari pedestrian street, which is a popular shopping area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kirkkokatu. Turn left onto Kirkkokatu and walk until you reach the Oulu Cathedral. From the cathedral, head towards the river, which you can see ahead. Cross the river using the bridge called 'Oulun Silta'. Once you are on the other side, continue straight until you reach the Pikisaarentie road. Turn left on Pikisaarentie, and you will find Pikisaari a short walk down the road, just across the small bridge that leads to the island.

From the Oulu city center, go to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 3 or 5 towards Pikisaarentie. Get off at the 'Pikisaarentie' stop. Once you exit the bus, you will see the Pikisaarentie road leading to Pikisaari. Walk straight along Pikisaarentie, and you will arrive at the entrance to Pikisaari shortly after.
