The Moomin Museum is located within Tampere Hall, near the city center. From Tampere Central Station, walk northeast along Ratapihankatu, then turn right onto Yliopistonkatu. Tampere Hall will be on your left. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. No costs are involved.

Tampere's public transportation network, Nysse, provides easy access to Tampere Hall. Several bus and tram lines stop near the hall. Check the Nysse route planner for the most convenient route from your location. A single ticket within Tampere costs approximately €3.02.

If driving, navigate to Yliopistonkatu 55, 33100 Tampere. Parking is available in the P-Tullintori parking hall next to Tampere Hall; the entrance is located behind the hall at Åkerlundinkatu 10. Parking costs approximately €26-€27 per day. Alternatively, Aimo Park Areena offers parking for €15/24h during the summer (June 6 - August 31, 2025). Street parking is also available, with rates ranging from €1.20 to €3.20 per hour, depending on the zone.
