From the center of Rovaniemi, head to the Rovaniemi bus station located at Asema-aukio 1. Once there, purchase a ticket for a bus heading towards Auttiköngäs. You will want to take the bus number 8 or any other bus that specifies Auttikönkääntie or Auttiköngäs as its destination. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Auttiköngäs. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Auttiköngäs nature reserve, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The exact address is Auttikönkääntie 119, 97655 Rovaniemi.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Rovaniemi. Once you have your bike, head east on Kemihaaran katu towards Korkalonkatu. Continue on Korkalonkatu and then take a left onto Auttikönkääntie. Follow this road, which will lead you directly to Auttiköngäs. The ride is about 15 kilometers and will take roughly an hour, depending on your pace. Enjoy the scenic route as you pedal through the beautiful Finnish landscape.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the center of Rovaniemi and follow the river. Begin at Rovaniemi's main square, and head towards the riverbank. Walk along the river until you reach the bridge at Korkalonkatu. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Auttikönkääntie. This walk is approximately 15 kilometers and will take around 3-4 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The natural surroundings will make for a pleasant journey.
