From Rovaniemi city center, walk to the Rovaniemi bus station located on Korkalonkatu. Board the bus number 8 towards Joulupukin Pajakylä. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. After getting off at the Joulupukin Pajakylä stop, you will need to walk about 1.5 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Keisarinlähde or use a map to guide you along the walking path. The path will take you through a scenic wooded area, leading you directly to the national reserve.

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Rovaniemi, such as Rovaniemi Bike Rental located on Korkalonkatu. After renting your bike, head towards the Rovaniemi city center and take the bike paths leading northeast. Follow the route along the riverside until you reach the signs directing you to Keisarinlähde, which is about 5 kilometers from the city center.
