From Rovaniemi city center, head to the Rovaniemi bus station located at Korkalonkatu 1. Check the schedule for bus number 8, which goes towards Vaattunkiköngäs. Once you disembark, follow the signs that direct you towards the rapids, which are just a short walk away.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Rovaniemi. Head north on Koskikatu street towards the bridge, and cross the river. Follow the bike paths that lead you out of the city. You'll want to take Route 4 (E4) towards Ylikyro. The ride will take around 1 hour, and you’ll be able to enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you reach Vaattunkiköngäs, you’ll find designated bike parking areas.
