    Starting from Ruka, drive towards Kuusamo on Route 5. After approximately 25 km, take the exit for Myllykoskentie. Follow Myllykoskentie for about 4 km until you reach the Jyrävä Rapids parking area, located at Myllykoskentie 34, 93850 Kuusamo. There are no entry fees for parking, but ensure to park in the designated areas.

    From Ruka, take the local bus service to Kuusamo. Buses run regularly, and you can check the schedule at the local tourist information center. Once in Kuusamo, take bus number 5 towards Oulanka National Park, which will drop you off near the Myllykoskentie turnoff. From there, it is about a 1 km walk to Jyrävä Rapids.
