If you're traveling by car, head towards Rovaniemi, which is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Savo. Use Route 5 and then Route 4 towards Rovaniemi. Once you arrive in Rovaniemi, follow signs for the city center. You will be looking for Pohjoisranta 4, where Arktikum is located. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Arktikum using public transportation, take a bus from Savo to Rovaniemi. You can catch a bus from the main bus station in Savo. The journey may take about 3-4 hours depending on the route. Once in Rovaniemi, disembark at the Rovaniemi bus station. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Arktikum. Just head south on Rautatiekatu, turn right onto Koskikatu, and continue until you reach Pohjoisranta.

If you prefer train travel, take a train from Savo to Rovaniemi. Check the train schedule for the most convenient departure time. The train journey typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Rovaniemi train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Arktikum is approximately a 20-minute walk from the train station. You can also take a local bus or taxi from the station to reach Pohjoisranta 4.
