Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Savonlinna, head to the main bus station (Savonlinnan linja-autoasema). You can take bus number 22 towards Niittylahti. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Niittylahdentie' stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters along Niittylahdentie road, following the signs towards the Kolmen Kaijan Circle Trail entrance. The trail starts at the designated parking area which will be visible on your left.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Savonlinna. Start your ride from the town center and head towards Niittylahdentie. The route is approximately 8 kilometers and is relatively flat, making for a pleasant ride. Follow the bike paths and road signs until you reach the Kolmen Kaijan Circle Trail's entrance, where there is a parking area for visitors.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk from the center of Savonlinna to Kolmen Kaijan Circle Trail. The distance is about 8 kilometers and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Start by heading east on Olavinlinna street, then take a right onto Niittylahdentie. Follow this road straight until you reach the trail entrance. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk is along a main road with some rural scenery.
