Public Transport
From the center of Savonlinna, walk to the Savonlinna bus station located at Kauppakatu 21. Purchase a ticket to Sulkava. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sulkava, get off at the 'Sulkava' bus stop. From there, walk southeast on Linnavuorentie for about 2 km. The Pisamalahti Hill Fort will be on your right. Look for the signs indicating the entrance to the fort.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental services in Savonlinna. Start your journey from the center of Savonlinna and head toward the southwest along the lakeshore. Follow the signs to Sulkava, and take the bike path along Linnavuorentie. The total distance is approximately 10 km and will take around 30-45 minutes depending on your cycling speed. The Pisamalahti Hill Fort is located at Linnavuorentie 306, which will be on your left as you approach Sulkava.

Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk to Pisamalahti Hill Fort. Start from the center of Savonlinna and head southwest towards the nearby lakeshore. Follow the path along the shoreline and then take the road leading to Sulkava. The walk is about 10 km and will take roughly 2-3 hours. Make sure to have a map or a GPS device to help you navigate along Linnavuorentie, where the fort is located at 306.
