Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Savonlinna, start at the Savonlinna Market Square (Savonlinnan tori). Head east on Kauppakatu street until you reach the intersection with Rantakatu. Turn left onto Rantakatu. Continue walking along Rantakatu, following the lakeside. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the bridge over the River Savonlinna. Cross the bridge and continue straight towards Rantasalmi road (Rantasalmen tie). After crossing the bridge, Soininmäki will be located to your right side after about 600 meters. Look for the signs that indicate the nature reserve.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Savonlinna bus station, take the local bus number 1 towards Rantasalmi. The bus will take you along Rantasalmi road. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the Soininmäki stop. The nature reserve entrance is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to Soininmäki.
