Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Helsinki, the capital of Finland. From Uusimaa, take the E18 motorway which leads directly into the city. Once you arrive in Helsinki, follow signs for the city center. Take the exit toward Bulevardi (Route 120). Continue on Bulevardi until you reach Bulevardi 23-27. There is street parking available, but be mindful of parking regulations as fees may apply. Check for any paid parking zones nearby.

• Public Transportation - Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from any station in Uusimaa to Helsinki Central Station. The train ride is about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your starting point. Once at Helsinki Central Station, exit the station and head to the Metro station located within the same building. Take Metro Line M1 or M2 towards Vuosaari or Mellunmäki respectively. Get off at the Kamppi station, which is about a 5-minute walk from the theater. From Kamppi, head southwest on Urho Kekkosen katu towards Bulevardi, turn left onto Bulevardi, and you will find Aleksanterin teatteri at Bulevardi 23-27.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  Alternatively, you can take a bus from various locations in Uusimaa to Helsinki. Look for buses that head to the Helsinki city center. Once you arrive at the Helsinki bus terminal, it is a short walk to Aleksanterin teatteri. Head southwest towards the city center, and then follow the same directions as above to reach Bulevardi 23-27. Make sure to check the HSL website for bus schedules and routes, as well as any potential fares.
