The most common way to reach Archipelago Museum Pentala is by taking a scheduled archipelago boat. These boats operate from late May/early June to mid-September, running between Tuesdays and Sundays. Several routes are available, departing from different locations in Espoo : * **The Museum Route:** Operates from Soukka, Suinonsalmi, and Suomenoja. * **Kivenlahti Archipelago Route:** Operates from Kivenlahti, Laurinlahti, and Soukka. A round-trip ticket costs approximately €7 for adults and €3.50 for children. Check the Aava Lines Oy website for the most up-to-date schedules and route information. The boat will dock at the Archipelago Museum's jetty, which is about 100 meters from the museum's information building. The path from the pier to the museum is a gentle uphill sand path.

Visitors can also arrive by private boat. The Archipelago Museum's jetty has 10 berths for private boats, but mooring is allowed for a maximum of 4 hours. Overnight stays are not permitted. The jetty is best suited for boats up to 7 meters in length. The coordinates for the jetty are N=6665617.728, E=370727.893. Please note that the Esbo Segelförening club's jetty is reserved for restaurant Paven's customers and sailing club members only.
