From the Vaasa city center, walk to the Vaasa bus station located at Kauppapuistikko 1. Take bus number 15 towards 'Kyrönniemi'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kyrönniemi' stop. From there, walk approximately 1 km along the path towards Kyro älv, following the signs leading to the river.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Vaasa. Start from the city center and head towards the waterfront. Follow the cycling paths along the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia, then continue towards the north where you will find a cycling path that leads directly to Kyro älv. The ride is approximately 8 km and offers scenic views.

If you prefer to walk, start from the city center and head north towards the river. Follow the pedestrian pathways along the shoreline of the Gulf of Bothnia, then continue on Vaskiluodonkuja road. The total walking distance is about 7 km, and it will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Kyro älv. Ensure to enjoy the views along the way!
