Bus
From the Vaasa city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is typically located near the Market Square (Kauppatori). Look for bus number 2, which heads towards 'Brage' or 'Bragenkuja'. Board the bus and enjoy a scenic ride. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Brage' bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the museum entrance.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Vaasa. Head towards the waterfront area and follow the bike path along the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bragenkuja. Turn left onto Bragenkuja and follow the road until you see the entrance to Brage Open Air Museum. The ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on your speed.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the city center (e.g., Market Square). Head northwest towards Vaskiluoto. Continue along the waterfront promenade until you reach Bragenkuja. Turn left onto Bragenkuja and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. The museum will be on your right. This leisurely stroll will take approximately 40-50 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views.
