If you are traveling by car within Big Cypress National Preserve, follow the main road signs to Shark Valley Visitor Center. From the Big Cypress National Preserve entrance, head west on US-41 (Tamiami Trail). Continue for approximately 15 miles until you see the Shark Valley entrance on your right. Turn right onto Shark Valley Road, which leads directly to the Visitor Center. The total drive time is about 30 minutes from the entrance.

Currently, there are no direct public transportation options that serve Shark Valley Visitor Center within Big Cypress National Preserve.
