If you are in downtown Cape Coral, start by heading south on SE 47th Terrace toward SE 15th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach Cape Coral Parkway E. Turn left and walk east until you reach the intersection with Del Prado Boulevard. Cross at the crosswalk and continue walking north on Del Prado Boulevard. After about a mile, you will reach the intersection with Rose Garden Road. Turn left onto Rose Garden Road and walk for about half a mile. You will see Rotary Park on your left. The Tom Allen Memorial Butterfly House is located within Rotary Park, specifically at 1340 Rose Garden Road.

For those who prefer cycling, start at the Cape Coral Yacht Club Park. Head north on the bike path along the waterfront until you reach Cape Coral Parkway E. Turn right onto Cape Coral Parkway E and continue until you reach Del Prado Boulevard. Turn left on Del Prado Boulevard and ride north for about a mile. Turn left onto Rose Garden Road and pedal for half a mile. Rotary Park will be on your left; the Tom Allen Memorial Butterfly House is within the park.

From the nearest public transit stop, take the LeeTran bus route 150 heading towards Cape Coral. Get off at the Del Prado Boulevard stop near the intersection with Rose Garden Road.
