If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Captiva Island, start by heading south on Captiva Drive towards Sanibel Island. Follow Captiva Drive until you reach the Captiva/Sanibel Causeway. Cross the causeway and continue onto Periwinkle Way. Follow Periwinkle Way until it becomes Tarpon Bay Road. Continue on Tarpon Bay Road and turn left onto Pine Island Road (FL-78). After about 8 miles, turn right onto Sesame Drive. The Museum of the Islands will be located on your left at 5728 Sesame Dr, Bokeelia, FL 33922.
