If you're driving from anywhere in Captiva Island, head south on Captiva Drive towards Pine Island Road. Continue on Pine Island Road until you reach the intersection with Burnt Store Road. Turn left onto Burnt Store Road and follow it until you reach the intersection with Ponce de Leon Parkway (FL-17). Turn right onto Ponce de Leon Parkway. The Peace River Wildlife Center will be on your right at 3400 Ponce de Leon Pkwy, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.

To reach the Peace River Wildlife Center using public transportation, take the LeeTran bus service from Captiva Island to Fort Myers. From Fort Myers, transfer to the LeeTran Route 100 bus towards Punta Gorda. Once in Punta Gorda, get off at the nearest stop to Ponce de Leon Parkway.
