    If you are starting from the Cape Coral Yacht Club, head north on Cape Coral Parkway E toward Del Prado Blvd N. Turn left onto Del Prado Blvd N and continue until you reach Veterans Pkwy. Follow Veterans Pkwy until you reach the intersection with Pine Island Rd. Turn right onto Pine Island Rd, and then take a left onto Placida Rd. Continue on Placida Rd for about 4 miles, and you will arrive at Don Pedro Island State Park, located at 8450 Placida Rd.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    From the Cape Coral Transit Center, take the Route 150 bus towards Fort Myers. Get off at the stop at Cape Coral Hospital. Transfer to Route 70 heading towards Punta Gorda. Get off at the Placida Rd & Gasparilla Rd stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk south on Placida Rd to reach Don Pedro Island State Park at 8450 Placida Rd.

    If you are near the Cape Coral Downtown area, head east on Cape Coral Parkway toward the intersection with Del Prado Blvd N. Continue on Del Prado Blvd N until you reach the intersection with Veterans Pkwy. Cross Veterans Pkwy and continue straight onto Pine Island Rd. After about 3.5 miles, take a left onto Placida Rd. Walk south on Placida Rd for about 2 miles, and you will see Don Pedro Island State Park on your right at 8450 Placida Rd.
