Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Destin, head east on US-98. Continue on US-98 for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Gulf Shore Drive and follow it until you reach the intersection with Destin Harbor Boulevard. Turn right onto Destin Harbor Boulevard and continue straight until you reach the end of the road, where you'll find parking near the Destin-West Jetty. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $5-10 per day.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, you can take the local bus service, known as the Emerald Coast Rider (ECR). Catch the Route 1 bus heading toward Destin. Disembark at the 'Destin Harbor' stop. From there, it’s a short walk along Destin Harbor Boulevard to the Destin-West Jetty. Be sure to check the ECR schedule for bus times, as they may vary throughout the day.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and have rented a bike, you can cycle to Destin-West Jetty. Starting from the center of Destin, take Highway 98 and then turn onto Gulf Shore Drive. Follow the bike lanes along the scenic route until you reach the harbor area. Once you arrive, there are bike racks available for parking your bicycle securely.

• Walking

  If you're staying close to the harbor area, you can simply walk to Destin-West Jetty. Navigate to Destin Harbor Boulevard and follow the road until you reach the jetty. This route is particularly enjoyable as it offers beautiful views of the harbor and the surrounding scenery.
