If you're driving, head towards the beach area of Destin. From Highway 98, turn south onto Gulf Shore Drive. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Norriego Road. Turn right onto Norriego Road, which leads directly to Norriego Point. Note that parking may be limited in this area, and you might have to pay for parking, so keep some cash or a card handy.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the local bus service (the Emerald Coast Rider) to the closest stop on Highway 98. Disembark at the stop nearest to the Destin Commons shopping center. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to Norriego Point. Head south on Highway 98, take a right onto Gulf Shore Drive, and then a right onto Norriego Road. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Destin. From your rental location, follow the bike lanes along Highway 98 towards the beach. Take a right onto Gulf Shore Drive, then right onto Norriego Road. Norriego Point is accessible by bike, and there are bike racks available for parking. Ensure you have a helmet and follow all local biking regulations.
Walking
If you're staying nearby and want to walk, Norriego Point is a pleasant destination on foot. From the Destin Harbor area, walk south along the beach access paths. Head towards Gulf Shore Drive and then turn right onto Norriego Road. The distance is about a mile and a half, making for a nice stroll along the beach.
