    From the main entrance of Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park, head south on Janes Scenic Drive. Continue on Janes Scenic Drive for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with Turner River Road. Turn left onto Turner River Road. After approximately 4 miles, you will see the Big Cypress Institute on your right at 25959 Turner River Rd, Ochopee, FL 34141. Look for the sign indicating the institute. There is no entrance fee for visiting the institute, but some programs may have associated costs.
