Car
If you are driving from downtown Jacksonville, take I-95 South and exit at FL-202 East. Merge onto FL-202 E and continue for about 7 miles. Take the exit toward Atlantic Beach, then turn right onto A1A (Coast Highway). Continue on A1A for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Dutton Island Rd W. Follow Dutton Island Rd W for about half a mile, and you will reach Dutton Island Preserve, located on your right. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Dutton Island Preserve using public transportation, start at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) bus terminal. Take the Route 10 bus heading towards Atlantic Beach. Stay on the bus for approximately 45-50 minutes until you reach the Atlantic Beach Town Center. From there, you can either walk or take a rideshare service. If walking, head east on Atlantic Blvd, then turn left onto A1A. Walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach Dutton Island Rd W. Turn right onto Dutton Island Rd W, and the preserve will be on your left.
