Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Jacksonville Beach. Use your GPS or a map app and set the destination to '429 1st St S, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250'. From major roads, you can take J. Turner Butler Boulevard (FL-202) which connects to A1A. Follow A1A South until you reach 1st St S. Turn left onto 1st St S and continue until you reach Oceanfront Park, which will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful that some areas may require a parking fee, which typically ranges from $1 to $5 per hour depending on the time of day.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can use the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) bus services. Take the JTA bus route 10 (Beach Bus) towards Jacksonville Beach. You will want to get off at the stop closest to 1st St S. From there, it's a short walk to Oceanfront Park. Make sure to check the JTA website for current schedules and fares, as a one-way fare might cost around $1.50. Keep in mind that buses may run less frequently on weekends, so plan accordingly.

  If you prefer biking, consider using one of the local bike-share programs available in First Coast. You can find bike stations throughout Jacksonville Beach. Navigate your way to Oceanfront Park by heading south on A1A and then turning onto 1st St S. There are bike racks available at the park for secure parking.   If you are staying nearby, walking to Oceanfront Park can be a pleasant option. The park is located right along the beach, and you can enjoy the beautiful coastal views. Simply head towards the beach area and navigate to 1st St S. Follow the street south until you reach the park. It’s an easy walk, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially on warm days.
