Car
If you are driving, head towards Fernandina Beach. Use the Interstate 95 (I-95) and take exit 373 for FL-200 E toward Fernandina Beach/A1A. Continue on FL-200 E for approximately 14 miles until you reach the city of Fernandina Beach. Once in Fernandina Beach, turn left onto Atlantic Ave. Follow Atlantic Ave for about 3 miles, and you will see the entrance to Fort Clinch State Park on your right at 2601 Atlantic Ave. There is an entrance fee of $6 per vehicle.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this area, but you can take the local bus service to Fernandina Beach. Check the local schedule for routes that go to Fernandina Beach, as it may require a transfer. Once you reach the nearest bus stop in Fernandina Beach, you may need to use a ride-sharing service or taxi to cover the last 3 miles to the park's entrance on Atlantic Ave. Be aware that ride-sharing services may have varying costs depending on time and demand.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can ride from Fernandina Beach to Fort Clinch State Park. Start at the downtown area of Fernandina Beach and head north on 14th Street until you reach Atlantic Ave. Turn left onto Atlantic Ave and follow it for about 3 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules. There are no additional costs, but rental bikes may incur fees if you are not bringing your own.
Walking
If you are already in close proximity to the park, you can walk from nearby accommodations in Fernandina Beach. Simply head towards Atlantic Avenue and walk north for approximately 3 miles. This journey will take you directly to the entrance of Fort Clinch State Park. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially on warm days.
