    If you're traveling by car, start on I-95 North. Take exit 358B for I-295 North towards Jacksonville. Merge onto I-295 and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 32B for Heckscher Drive (FL-105) towards Fort George Island. Continue on Heckscher Drive for approximately 8 miles. Little Talbot Island State Park will be on your left at 12157 Heckscher Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32226. Look for the park entrance sign.

  • Public Transportation

    For public transportation, start by taking the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) bus line 1 from downtown Jacksonville towards the airport. Get off at the stop for the Jacksonville International Airport. From there, transfer to bus line 3 towards Heckscher Drive. The bus will take you to the nearest stop, which is still a bit of a walk from the park entrance. You will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along Heckscher Drive to reach Little Talbot Island State Park at 12157 Heckscher Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32226.
