If you are driving, start by getting onto I-95 N from any location in First Coast. Follow I-95 N for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 353A for I-10 E toward Jacksonville. Merge onto I-10 E and continue for about 4 miles. Take exit 353A toward Downtown. Continue on Bay St and follow the signs for Gator Bowl Blvd. Turn left onto Gator Bowl Blvd. Metropolitan Park will be on your right at 1410 Gator Bowl Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32202. There is parking available at the park, which may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) bus. Look for Bus Route 5 which travels through downtown Jacksonville and has stops near Metropolitan Park. Board the bus at any major stop in First Coast and ride until you reach the stop closest to the park, which will be the Gator Bowl stop. The fare for a one-way trip is approximately $1.75. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of Metropolitan Park at 1410 Gator Bowl Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
