If you're driving to Tree Hill Nature Center, start by getting on I-95 N from your location in First Coast. Follow I-95 N for approximately 10 miles and take exit 351B to merge onto FL-115 N. Continue on FL-115 N for about 5 miles, then take a left onto Lone Star Rd. Tree Hill Nature Center will be about half a mile down on your right at 7152 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Tree Hill Nature Center via public transportation, take the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) bus route 18. Board the bus at a nearby stop and ride until you reach the stop at Lone Star Rd & E 8th St. From there, it's a short walk of approximately 0.5 miles to the center. Follow Lone Star Rd south until you see the entrance to Tree Hill Nature Center. Be sure to check the JTA schedule for bus times, as they may vary throughout the day, and keep in mind that a one-way fare is typically around $1.50.
