Getting There

Car

If you're driving, start from St. Augustine. Head south on US-1 S. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with FL-312. Turn left onto FL-312 and follow it until it ends at A1A S. Turn right onto A1A S, and in approximately 2.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Fort Matanzas National Monument on your left at 8635 A1A S, St. Augustine, FL 32080. There is no entrance fee to visit the monument.
Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take the Sunshine Bus Route 103 from downtown St. Augustine. This route goes south along A1A. You will want to get off at the stop closest to Fort Matanzas. Be sure to check the schedule ahead of time as service may be limited. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop to the monument's entrance.
