Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, make your way to US-1 South, also known as the Overseas Highway. Follow US-1 through the Florida Keys. Once you reach Key West, continue on US-1 until you reach the intersection with Whitehead Street. Turn left onto Whitehead Street. The Key West Lighthouse will be on your left at 938 Whitehead St, Key West, FL 33040. There is typically street parking available but be aware that parking fees may apply in the area.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you are using public transportation, take the Greyhound bus or the Keys Shuttle to Key West. Both services have scheduled stops in Key West. Once you arrive at the Key West bus terminal, you can either walk or take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the lighthouse. From the bus terminal, head southwest on N. Roosevelt Blvd, turn right onto Whitehead St, and continue walking for about 15 minutes to reach 938 Whitehead St. Please check the local bus schedules for current timings and fares as these can vary.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Key West. Follow the designated bike lanes on the roads, and head towards the historic district. Make your way to Whitehead Street, where the Key West Lighthouse is located at 938 Whitehead St. Biking is a great way to explore the area and immerse yourself in the local scenery.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of downtown Key West, walking to the lighthouse is a pleasant option. Start from the southernmost point of the United States, located at 1400 Duval Street, and walk north on Duval Street until you reach the intersection with Whitehead Street. Turn left on Whitehead Street and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Key West Lighthouse will be on your right at 938 Whitehead St.
